<VV> Fuel Leaks

Just put New Fuel line From Pump to New filter then new line to Carb on 
a  my 63 turbo

I have leaks it seems at all fittings and i have checked them for tightness

should i be using sealant on them.? I thought that new lines and 
fittings would seal

any advise would be appreciated...
