We were awakened at 6:30 am Sun morning by a VERY loud "crash boom bang
crash".  A hit and run driver lost control, ran down the bank opposite our
driveway,  ran over those very large goonies laying by the road, smacked the
guard rail and was propelled backward into our cars.  The impact was so
great it knocked my corvair SIDEWAYS about 10 ft right into the wifes' merc.
Who'd have ever thought- 2 cars totaled at the same time JUST SITTING IN MY
DRIVEWAY  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!       My wife and I are still pretty
numb.  Fortunately, we still have my '63 ragtop to get around in.  All
that's left now is to sit and wait to find out who we have to do battle
with, once the cops find out who it was that fled the scene.
