FINALLY!!!!!! The situation from the wreck of 9 Sep when our 2 cars were destroyed in our driveway has been resolved!!!!!
Unfortunately, we had to file a complaint against the "good-to-go" insurance co. thru the state of pa's insurance department's "bureau of consumer services" to get anywhere. But they finally sent me $5,000 to settle. That gave me enough to purchase an all original '69 coupe with 58,000 miles on it with enough left over to get the merc fixed as well.
It is now sitting in my driveway waiting to be brought up to my "daily driver" standards. On the drive home, it was noted the brakes definitely needed some work. My question is this: I noticed in the clark's catalogue that they offer 2 different front brake hoses for a '69. Does it matter which one you use? I guess both will work, but are there any advantages/disadvantages for either? I'm not worried about originality. I'm looking for reliability and dependability first and foremost and therefore the best choice. Everything else seems straight forward. This is my first foray into the world of '69's.
Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks a million.
