<VV> Corsa dash in a Monza

G’day everyone,
I am currently finishing connecting the last few remaining electrical wires on our now lengthy ground restoration of our (converted to RHD) 1965 Monza convertible. I am pleased to say that this restoration is making good progress and is likely to be finished within the next 6 months! But here’s my question.....

During the restoration / RHD conversion I added a Corsa instrument panel and I am now wondering, considering our ‘65 Corvair Monzas 110 hp engine is not Turbocharged, whether there is any point in connecting a Vaccum line to the Manifold Vaccum Pressure Gauge?

I am told that the gauge will simply read zero all the time. If this is case perhaps there is no point in running a vaccum line. However is there a reason to connect this gauge nevertheless?

Would appreciate any opinions on the above.
