I don't think this has been discussed - that light is both oil and temp.  It may be possible the engine was hot enough to drop oil pressure, although I don't know how likely that scenario is.  I can say that I've had trouble with a well worn engine getting decent oil pressure with 10W-30, switching to 15W-50 resolved the issue.
