<VV> Anyone know what liquid or oil is in the Late Corvair convertible vibration dampeners?

I was under the impression it was some type of hydraulic fluid (like ATF). I suspect hydraulic jack oil would work but I do not know FOR SURE. I have never heard of any parts being available for them such as seals or gaskets. Perhaps a lab would be able to analyze with certainty what they used. Good luck and let us know what you find out.
