<VV> Trunk -- Engine lids weatherstripping question (LM)

I'm unclear as to which way you lay in the rubber weatherstrippings on  
these lids.  My painter took the old ones off and there are no instructions  
with the Steele product.  Does anyone has a pic/detail of this?  I've  looked 
through all my manuals and don't see it.

Seal lip curved to the outside  and seam at center at Windshield area.
