<VV> Sears brand shock aborbers - are they for a Corvair?

The 29279 is for a late Corvair rear.
I ASSUME the 79278 is the front.
I've got a pair of the 29279's on the shelf...

I have some old Sears heavy duty shocks in my stash - wondering if anybody
can say whether they will fit a Corvair.  Their part numbers are 79278 &
79279.
