Not true. All '64s generators had rear facing terminals.

So the correct terminals for the '64 are the rear ones like the FC? My '64 has the rear terminals and I've noticed a few other 64's that did. I always just assumed that mine had an FC generator but I guess not.

According to the Junkyard Primer booklet 1102226 is a 1960-1963 Except FC &
Station wagon generator. 30 Amps with terminals pointing up.
