<VV> Regulator?

Nothing should 'click' in the alternator. Regulator should 'click'.
As for what's wrong, I'd bet on the regulator.
Good luck getting it off. The mounting screws are usually rusty and threaded
into rubber mounted inserts. As you loosen the screw, the rubber mount
shears and it just spins.

The gen light comes on in my 63 Monza. I took the cover off the regulator
and touched the left side points together and the battery charges (13.8
volts) and you hear a click coming from the alternator. Does that mean my
regulator is bad?
