CORSA Chapters!
If your chapter of CORSA has its website on the CORSA server, and if your website html relies on a ".htaccess" file to streamline your site, then you should log on to your website to make sure it is still working properly.
A .htaccess (hypertext access) file is a directory-level configuration file supported by several web servers, used for configuration of site-access issues, such as URL redirection, URL shortening, Access-security control (for different webpages and files), and more.
When CORSA migrated to its new server this week, the ".htaccess" files were apparently left behind, probably because the name of the .htaccess file starts with a period (".").
The solution is simple. Ask your webmaster to reload your .htacess file back on the corvair.org server. That's what I had to do for the CNHCA, NJACE, NECC, LVCC and PCG websites this morning. (Wednesday, February 10, 2016).
