Thanks for all your input Timothy,
It is the low mount. When it started squealing, I was on the road and
just shut off the A/C for a few minutes, and re-started it at a low
speed. It did not squeal again until I turned into the driveway. The
entire drive was on a 40mph road, so it never got up to highway speeds.
Didn't sound like a belt, more of a scraping sound, but I haven't had
eyes on it when it happens - that whole hood up thing. I guess I should
have replaced the belt before starting, got in too big a hurry. That
would certainly make more sense than replacing the clutch right off the
bat. Thanks again,
