<VV> How to connect electric chokes?

The coil puts it on the wrong side of ballast resistor wire. Connect it to the same lead on the body side of the engine harness connector.

Anyone have any ideas on how to connect an electric choke on some 2 bbl carbs on
my LM Corvair?  The wire was connected to the coil but I’m not sure if I connect
to the positive or negative terminal. Many thanks for any help so I don’t fry
