<VV> Oil pump question

You guys work way too hard.  What I did was strip down an old distributor except for the oil pump shaft rod and housing, slide it into the hole, bolt it down, and then attach my drill to the end of the shaft, just like a drill bit.  Then just pull the trigger and watch the oil flow!!
