<VV> Plexi Side cover replacement

What's the temp of that stuff. Pretty sure you will melt it. With CHT's up
to 400 to 450 on hot days??
But why do you want to view it in the first place? A simple look up the aft
closeable doors once in awhile tells you exhaust condition.
