<VV> Door on back of motor

When I put pushrod seals on my Rampside I noticed one of the doors on motor Rt. side facing rear of truck was very hard to open nothing catching it but the spring holding it closed. I adjusted the spring all the way out but when motor warms up the door stays closed.  Left door opens right up but Right door stays closed, I'm afraid overheating the motor with that door closed.  Looking for suggestions.  Thanks
