I don't know.  Put your OHM meter across a couple of inches of the Duct tape
and see if it reads infinite.

Can that foam that goes on the heater hose be substituted. with a few turns
or duct tape? That foam sleeve looks like a beverage holder. Duct tape would
be more heat resistant. Can't do without duct tape and vise grips.
