Well, I know new Corvair owners/enthusiasts as young as 17.

I consider myself a younger Corvair enthusiast. (47) Got into wrenching later in life, and when my son bought our first Corvair 6 yeats ago, i have since inherited it and he and i work on it together. Have since got the Corvair fever, and have another projecy car to make go fast as well as look purdy.
Unfortunately, I(we) jave never joined Corsa. The closest sanctioned club has disbanded and the next closest one to us(central cal.) is too far away to be active in. If there were a few more tangible benefits to Corsa membership, maybe it would attract newer/younger membership. There are a couple of young guys, early 20's, that i meet up with pretty regularly as well as help each other out with tips and tricks and general maint. issues.

<That mentality will be the death of CORSA on the end and
lead to the death of the Corvair hobby. >
I, too, used to fear/anticipate the death of the Corvair hobby but after going on Facebook I realize that there are many young people passionate about Corvairs. Our Corvair hobby won't die in the foreseeable future. CORSA, on the other hand, I fear is dying. And I am a great proponent of CORSA and a consistent member since the early '80s. Young people just aren't joiners. CORSA does need some fine tuning to give it the chance to survive for as long as possible but I don't think the newer generations of folks join clubs like the old guys did. Too much free on the internet.
