<VV> Spark Plugs Flying

The AR33 is a taper seat spark plug. To make this plug seal, you need to
cut a matching taper in the Corvair head. That is a lot of work. Also
the taper needs to be about .040" deep, to get the .460" reach of the
AR33 plug to match the plug depth of a 1/2" reach of the AC 44F.
This is why I called Autolite to get part numbers for 18 mm washer
gasket type plugs. There are two still in production I listed in a
previous post today. These plugs just require taping the hole to 18mm
specifications, with no taper on the seat, just flat, like it already is.
Now that AR33 would run real well in my 1984 F-150 with the 300 cu in six.
