I believe that when it comes to used things Amazon works as a clearing house for other sellers.  In other words, it would be more accurate to say that the part was bought THROUGH Amazon rather than FROM Amazon.  The quality and condition of one such part reflects on the actual seller and not so much on Amazon nor should the experience reflect negatively on every used part purchased via Amazon however the experience should, nonetheless, be brought to Amazon's attention as well as that of the actual seller of the part.
