  For an objective picture, if your Corvair was just any used car, how much would you pay for one in equivalent condition?  If the $6000 you've invested has given you a good looking reliable car that you can drive for several years, doesn't that seem like a good value?  Now try to put a price tag on all the smiles, waves and conversations you'll enjoy while you're driving a very easy to own classic car.  

Don't try to justify it - drive it and enjoy it.
