<VV> I towed my 64 Spyder backward with the top up from FL to Ventura and back. You learn quickly to never get in a position to have to back up. Tried the rampside backwards but it had serious tracking problems so from Florida to Mass and to Tacoma and back the long way (8k miles) it was front on the dolly.
