<VV> Cleaning gas tank

I am looking for a way to clean out the gas tank on a LM without having to 
remove said tank. Remove float assembly and flush out tank with what??? 
Thanks for any helpful suggestions. By the way car has sat for at least 10 
years and not sure if any fuel remains. John Gull in Asheville NC

Smitty Says;  John, alcohol from a building supply store will dissolve the 
gum in a tank.  Of course it will only clean as high as the level of the 
liquid.
