I'll be sending Charlie a card and thanks for providing his address.  One of my life's arcane high points along with having my personal checks accepted at my favorite junkyard and getting every green light from Rockville to Bethesda (wouldn't happen today) was the first time I "got" a Charle ad.  I met him at Carlisle, fished through one of his boxes of treasures, bought a few and had a good time talking to him about his trip crooscountry in his big old Buick.  I thought he was a very shy person.  Had he been born later he might have been diagnosed with some condition.
He is still a part of the Corvair world.

I don't get out on the Forums much But I did want to let everyone know That knows Charlie Dye That he has been in the Hospital sense June 29th of this year. Don't think he will be going back home as he can not get around to good. He will be 88 this year and right now can't get out of bed. they do have him in a Nursing home now called Acuity Healthcare. There address is 13818 N. Thunderbird Blvd, Sun City, Az. 85351 If you would like to send him a card I think he would like it. I have been taking care of his home for him and keeping the grass cut and doing a few repairs to it. But I think if he ever makes it out of the healthcare Hospital He will most likely come stay with me and my wife. Most days he is there and can be his old self but there is a day or two that he just is not there. yesterday was one of them for a time. I have known old Charlie for 50 years plus 2 I meet him when I was 8 and he was weird then. But any how anyone that would like to drop him a card feel free
to. Calling him would do no go because you would not be able to talk with him on the phone.

Charlie has no email!!!
