To VV, This one is for sale on eBay. Take a look. It is located in Long Island NY. Too far for me to take a casual look. Can someone on the Island help Tom sell it?
Tom,
Without seeing the bottom and trunk, I think I'd pay something in the neighborhood of $17,000 to $20,000. I have a '69 convertible that is insured currently for $20,000. It is totally stock except for radial tires and a few incidentals and I have won over a couple of dozen trophies with it in the past 30+years.

Tom, Cool it is. I'd be interested, but I already have 5 of them.

Many thanks for your thoughts on all. I see it as just a cool Corvair that is far more solid than most will ever be. I am open to offers from anyone interested. I will certainly not retire on the sale of this Corvair, but would like to give it a good home. Best, Tom Papadopoulos

Tom, just some info for you. That's a lot of money for a car that is not stock, nor is it finished yet. Interior incorrectly painted. Wheel well trim missing. Engine compartment not finished. Where is the spare tire? Incorrect alternator/voltage regulator. Wrinkled convertible top etc. I'm not knocking the car. Just for your info for the future owner.
