<VV> Headlights not working??

Poor ground likely.  Strong enough for weaker bulbs, but not strong enough 
for headlights.  The problem could be at the front, but more likely (as 
others have mentioned) at the dimmer switch.  Unscrew it from the floor, 
clean up all the rust that is likely there (screws too), reinstall.  If that 
does not fix it, you just might need a new switch.
