<VV> Corvair engine codes (1965 RV = PG/AIR?)

In general, Charlie, I would be suspicious of any information that is not 
from Corvair sources or vendors. In other words, referencing those numbers 
from an internet site, doesn't mean anything to most of us. Don't base your 
arguments on web sites..

If an engine is for a CORSA, it is for a manual trans as CORSAs did not come 
with PG. Perhaps it would be helpful to review what CORSAs originally were. 
They were 2 dr cpe, M/T w/ 140 or 180 T engines. A few were Air Conditioned. 
They could have any available differential ratio specified, mirrors, radios, 
trim items as other Monzas.. in only 1965/66.  Spyders wre early models with 
turbos and M/T..only. Cpe or convertible.
