Unless it was an Air Conditioned Corsa-Then it would be "RR".

Ok, now I think I understand the question. What you wanted to know is:
"What engine code is original for a Corsa?"
The answer is "RB".
The engines were assembled in Tonawanda and shipped to the assembly plants. The complete - air cleaner to oil pan - engine was an assembly that was installed, so it had to "plug in" to the car with no changes required. Don't forget that the date code on the engine should precede the one on the body by a fairly short time, a couple weeks or so.
But what you *really* wanted to know is:
"Where do I get this amazing compendium of knowledge known as the CORSA Tech Guide?"
The answer is http://www.corvair.org/index.php?option=com_hikashop&view=category&layout=listing&Itemid=518
