<VV> Corvair engine codes (1965 RV = PG/AIR?)

Correct ~

Hence my question about what an "RV" block (also a 1965 code) is doing in a
Corsa?

I've also heard that the 140 was dropped for 1967, but brought back by
"popular demand"?

Charlie,

Corsas made in only 1965 and 1966. They were either 180 hp turbo or 140 hp 
4 - 1 bbls.

This "RV" is a 1966-68 95 hp AT (PG) with AIR   Air Injection Reactor (Smog 
Pump). All late model Corvairs were 164 ci.
