I'd like to see that "under hood light" option ~ I've never seen a Corvair
with it ~
Did the light mount in the middle of the "X" ?
Any pix of that car?

When a car is equipped with the optional light group including the under the
trunk lid light, those holes are to run the wire through.
I just removed one from a car, and those holes are the only access area to
run the wire. Difficult to fish out of there, must have been a real pain to
install.

On my 1967 Monza, and my friend's 1965 Corsa, there are 4 unused holes just
above and aligned about the same angles, as the holes for the deck hinges.
Was this an original attempt to locate hinges in a different place, and they
just never filled in the holes?
Just curious if anyone ever asked this before, and what did they find?
Charlie
