Hello Gents,

ExxonMobil publishes an online product guide for all of their synthetic products:

http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorOil/Files/Mobil_1_Product_Guide.pdf

A very handy reference if you go searching for a on-the-shelf product at you local box store. Take note of the Mobile 1 High Mileage products; they all rated SL/CF and have 1000/1100ppm P/Zn antiwear additive necessary for flat tappet cams. I often find this in 5 qt jugs at Wal-Mart for $23-24. For Ken I would recommend using the 10W-30 weight in his recently rebuilt engine. If the oil pressure seems to run too low in hot weather he could move up to 10W-40.

I have used Mobile 1 High Mileage in a couple of sludged up original engines and found that it does a good job of cleaning them out. It solved a blow-by problem in my original 87k '67 500 110/PG by unsticking some rings.
