I have in the past happily used a compact spare from a GM midside in a 
Greenbrier, where its skinny profile allows the engine compartment cover 
to be lifted without rasslin' it past the spare.

But as to Bill's reminder that, in the past at least, we have seen 
Corvair owners use FOUR of them in CORSA's Economy Run, if this practice 
hasn't been outlawed in the event rules it should be.
