<VV> Can we help fix Corvair engine codes on web site ?

Which is why I asked if helping his online "engine codes" web site would "step on" our club's efforts?

If it's going to be "out there" I figured it might as well be right, but yes, it would hurts sales of printed sources, as you point out.

It all started with my initial query as to the engine code for a Corsa, which turns out to be "RB" whereas my "RM" is a 140 for use in cars where the 140 is optional, i.e., Monza and 500, and therefore is acceptable, but not "correct" per se.

Thanks to everyone for their help figuring that out.

I'll pick up a Tech Guide at the "Toss" later this month ...

Charlie

No we can't. That is not our job. If we wants to plagiarize our shop manuals, tech guides, Junkyard Primers, Communiques, etc. that is his business. But why are you/he trying to "reinvent the wheel"? Is it to save a few dollars?
