I don't know exactly how to honor the important people from the club. But one thing is for sure the club is graying including myself. Perhaps bringing new younger members in as has been discussed before may honor them in some way by saving what we've all enjoyed for so many decades. Paul Fox, long time club member.

Paul,
I agree. There are many times I wanted to express my thanks in some tangible way. As my opportunities to meet face-to-face are limited, I would love to be able to donate to a specific member, or group of members, by giving to a PayPal account that could be disbursed to those who give so freely of their time and knowledge. Many have seen a link to PayPal on various websites where you could donate to the cause or the effort; i.e. free software, Wikipedia, etc. Something as simple as that would be appreciated.

The feeling of loss is not only for them and their family personally but also includes a sense of a diminished Corvair future for those who remain.

A tally could be kept and those with the most votes could be recognized and know their contributions were really appreciated. Call it a Hall of Fame, an Honor Roll, a Certificate of Recognition, or something else, but the recognition might really be appreciated by those who unselfishly gave of themselves.
