<VV> Turbo's and Powerglides?

Back in the 80s I drove my 1963 Rampside PG with an early turbo engine. For the engine cover I stuck a sheet of plywood on top of the left and right rails. I did not use a muffler, just the stock outlet pipe. That thing was awesome especially "boosting" around Covina Hills where my parents lived.
