I just came home with it. It worked when plugged in where I bought it. Now  
for time to hang it in my upstairs shop window. I am thinking of mounting 
it on  a piece of  heavy metal ( Commercial radio cabinet chunk) with the  
transformer so no more lead bending. I will replace the cord and high tension  
wires with much better wire.
 Thank you for all the replies.  I did "OK" . If anything happens  to me it 
will go to museum.
