<VV> Early differentials vs. Lates

The late models are definitely wider from centerline of u-joint across to
centerline of U-joint.  The case and case cover (ring gear case) is wider
also.  If you buy a Beef-A-Diff 4-spider package it says to cut off a half
inch from each side to use on an early.  The side adjusters are different
from early to late.  The carrier is the same width so as long as you use all
early stuff it will work in a late carrier.
