I've used them before as well. Never a warning about washing my hands. BIG warnings about grinding or filing on them!!

We are currently using these tools around big Magetrons, due to high
magnetic force.
They came with no warnings. Maybe I need to discuss this problem with the
guys.

Atlas and Titian missile maintenance crews used
copper beryllium tools as they don't make sparks.
The only prohibition was no eating with out washing
your hands after using the tools.
