Thanks to all for the input. I'm going to drain the gas and put fresh in it. I have an area I need the weeds killed and it's, not that big a job to drain it out. I had a bad experience once when I didn't drain the gas out that was a lot older. It was probably 12-13 yr old gas though. Ken

However if you fill the carbs with gas and let it sit for a day or 2 sometimes they'll clear themselves. I think the gas softens the gum and the carbs will start working with out tearing them down.
