The coupons have a lot of exclusions, typically higher-priced items and, 
um, things that you might want.  But the coupons bring traffic into the 
store, which is the intent.

My eyesight ain't what it once was (and it was never good), but I always 
search for the fine print beforehand.  My wife does not, and more than 
once I have been the messenger being killed...
