Finally, a version that shows some secondary confirmation of the story.  I 
notice the statement reported from Chrysler includes this:
"Chrysler Group has no record of any legal proceedings involving Dodge Viper 
vehicles donated to educational institutions being involved in accidents and 
product liability lawsuits."
which indicates the original story we all saw had some embellishments.  The 
lawsuits part of the story was certainly part of what tripped my BS alarm.
