<VV> 140 PG : Progress report ~ Almost there!

The code guy gave me until June 12th before the town tows my 1967 Monza to
the scrap yard, so the race is on!

She is making progress and the 140 is in the car with more than a little
help from a local Corvair friend, and not without the expected ~ and some
unexpected ~ hiccups.

The broken cage nut (1 of 3) on the TC (see pic) meant the whole thing had
to come out again to fix it, but it went faster the second time (who hasn't
learned that?) 

This version has the secondaries blocked off and single exhaust a'la 110 to
satisfy the code cop (plus I need to find the correct 140 exhaust, or at
least a dual exhaust setup for her...

BTW, this is the 140/PG "Plan B," as opposed to "Plan A" which was to get
the 140 working with the 4-speed, which requires a few more parts, and much
more time than I have to satisfy the code cops, but at least I may get
behind the wheel of a Corvair sometime soon!

Friday looks like the day to set up ignition and get some fuel in the tank
and get it from there to the engine, and get some oil  pumping through!
