<VV> 1969 Red Corvair Monza- Travels to Tacoma- 1st to Check in!

Paraphrasing a movie line,  "Yo Tacoma- we made it!".  The little red Monza
'69 made the journey across the great USA- no problems & our marriage is
still *intact*.  The marriage was under more strain I fear more than the
car- at one point hitting about 86% BUT you need to add back 6% for no a/c
& another 8% for the wind noise plus seat comfort which gets us back to
100%. My wife & I checked in Friday night & were told we were the 1st to
do.

Beautiful hotel- especially the displayed glass- I think all will like it.
And to add to the beauty is a spectacular Corsa in the lobby- I am hoping
this car to be the raffle prize- just kidding.

A couple of posted questions- the USS Badger is still in play on Lake
Michigan & has been converted, I believe, from coal to fuel oil.  Also,
I-90 was in great repair although there are sections being repaved which
caused minimal delays.
