Your friendly local auto paint store may have one or more books with
color swatches.
You can browse through them - the gas cap door is a great idea, so you
can compare colors there at the counter.
That's how I picked the color for the only car I ever painted - found a
really nice Corvette red in a cheap enamel paint.
- available colors may vary by type of paint...
Worked out great.
