What is the history/ condition of the carbs and distributer and vacuum
advance. Are you disconnecting the vacuum line when you set your timing and
idle speed. Make sure to plug the hose or cap the port on the rt carb.
Compare the number of turns out for the idle mixture to the smooth running
side to the other.
What is your dwell setting? Condition of plugs?
I had this issue with my 64 110 and ended up installing a rebuilt
distributer, nos vacuum advance, and bought a set of Grants carbs, 65
series, to get my engine to idle correctly. One of the old 62 bases was
partially plugged, but I saw a difference with the ignition changes, too.
You might try switching the carbs to see if the problem follows the problem
carb or stays.
