<VV> Track day -- Knoxville?

The Northeast Corvair Council (NECC) is working on plans to run a drag race event on Tuesday of convention week at the Knoxville Drag Strip which is about 15 milres from the hotel.  Those who particpated in the drag race event held in conjunction with the Lexington convnetion can attest to how much fun it was.  The highlight must have been watching two Ultravans run against each other.  Overall winner was a PG Rampside.  Stay tuned for details.

I have heard that there are no tracks close by and therefore, no track event planned in conjunction with, nor near in date to the convention.
