<VV> Gear Ratio Calculations?

Knowing my speeds in gears, how can I calculate my gear ratios?

First you are missing your  final drive ratio [  differential gearing...]  to make the calcs.       Bryan's Autocross pages has the spreadsheet already made up!


Easiest  way is to remove all 6 spark plugs  Mark a rear tire  and the HB... 




put in 4th [ high ] which we know is 1.1  ratio


Roll car ONE tire revolution  while counting the rev's of the HB


Then 3rd, then 2nd , then first!
