<VV> Misbehaving fuel pump

I usually carry a spare and thus run the pumps far more than four years, 
eight to ten or more is the norm.

Jon -  never hurts to have  a spare.  It's an insurance policy that the one
in the car will behave itself.  Oh, keep the spare in the car as well...
