<VV> TV show "Castle" Corvair mention

Missy and I were just watching an episode from season four of "Castle"
titled Pandora.

A minor character made the statement "We were debating the merits of the
Chevy Corvair".  The writers of the episode were Andrew W.
Marlowe<http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0549256/?ref_=tt_ov_wr>
 and David Amann <http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0023897/?ref_=tt_ov_wr>.

One of these guys must have some kind of Corvair connection, anyone know
anything about it?
