And the car will lack power. Again, I never understood why our NA cars came equipped with that gauge. I don't believe fuel economy was an issue back in the mid '60s (though our cars were considered compact cars).
Maybe there was nothing else they felt was important enough to put there. Why not oil press. or temp.?
